The mythology behind this piece is that it is a Demon Hunting relic. 

The skull itself is Judas Iscariot's skull, coated with the 30 pieces of silver used to betray Christ and then carved. There are holes in the back to be used to hold the relic facing away from the wielder. If anyone looks upon the face of the skull they become overwhelmed with grief and become frozen from the weight if their guilt.

The skull is made of resin and carved by Zane Wylie.
